Designed by William Adam in 1732 and refurbished in 1880, the house
blends Georgian architecture with late Victorian interiors. There is a fine
collection of paintings and a terraced garden.

Isles. The estate contains four of the five highest mountains in the UK. It includes the upper watershed of the River Dee and remnant Caledonian
Pine Forest. The wildlife and birdlife are characteristic of the northern mountainous areas of Britain.
