A note about visiting times:
Opening times and visiting arrangements for the National
Trust properties in England, Wales and Northern Ireland vary considerably. Nevertheless, most properties open during the period 23 March to 3 November. The last admission for visitors is generally thirty minutes before closing time.

Due to the complexity of detail in relation to visiting times and days for many National Trust properties in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, we have not listed those details in this publication.

However, The National Trust’s Handbook is available for purchase from National Trust offices and properties, and high-street shops throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Handbook contains comprehensive details on each property, along with area maps. We urge you to obtain a copy.
