The buildings, which date from the 18th century, house extensive
collections of farm, fishing and domestic items – mostly from the
Victorian era – and exhibitions of local costumes from the 1750s –
1950s.
Open: daily 10am–5pm (15 March, April, September, to October 31)
and
9.30am–5.30pm (May, June, July and August). Closed 9th May. Last
entry is30 minutes before closing time.
Les Caches Barn
Les Caches, Les Villets, Forest, Guernsey GY6 0HN
Restored late 19th century farmhouse (later used as a barn) – which
houses
the secondary collection of Folk and Costume Museum farming,
household
and tradesmen’s artefacts.
