Horsefly River Riparian Conservation Area The property represents 12km of river shoreline along the Horsefly River
Valley. The area is used for sockeye, Chinook and Coho salmon and
rainbow trout spawning and is home to songbirds, waterfowl and wading
birds. There is a high density of grizzly and black bears and an
exceptional moose winter habitat.
Koeye River Mouth
Located near Bella Bella
This 74 hectare property lies within the Great Bear Rainforest in the
Koeye River Valley. The area has ecological and wildlife values and is
recognised as a grizzly bear and salmon stronghold. Access by boat only.
Talking Mountain Ranch
(Also known as Reynold’s Ranch)
Located on the west side of the Fraser River, 30 km west of Clinton. The
landscape encompasses grasslands, riparian zones, wetlands, brush and
transitional to sub-alpine forested slopes. There is a backdrop of towering
hoodoos, limestone sinkholes and imposing canyons.
