Olivewood

This 1880's wooden-floored house was originally designed as a Canadian log cabin for the Chaffey brothers from Canada, who established the
irrigation and fruit growing area of Renmark. It remains a working orangery and the orchard is fully operational, including its famous olive
trees. Devonshire teas available.
Open: Mon 10am-4pm, Tues 2pm-4pm, Thurs-Sun 10am-4pm. Groups by
appointment only.
Overland Corner Hotel, Overland Corner and Heron Bend Reserve Old Coach Road, Overland Corner

The first stage of construction of the Overland Corner Hotel began in 1859. An underground water tank, dug in 1872, is still in existence. From
1897–1913 the Hotel was a post office. Artefacts are on display throughout the hotel and in the Old Post Office. Heron Bend Reserve covers 17ha
and is an attractive picnic area. The reserve, located on a scenic gum-lined section of the river, has a backdrop of high limestone cliffs. The
hotel continues to be a social gathering place. Facilities available include a front bar, a la carte dining, morning and afternoon teas and
outdoor dining. Coaches/groups are welcome by appointment and camping is permitted. Contact the hotel for more information.

prior arrangement.
Reserves open: all year round except during wet conditions.
Napper’s Accommodation House North Lake Bonney, Barmera

Built in 1863 by William Napper as an accommodation hotel and storeroom, the house was an important stopping place on the overland stock route.
The building is now in ruins.

Wilabalangaloo Sturt Highway, 4 km NE of Berri on Renmark Road

Wilabalangaloo was part of the huge Cobdogla Station in 1846. Walking
tracks along the river provide magnificent views of red sandstone cliffs.
There are valuable remnants of native vegetation including five species of
arid zone trees gazetted as protected plants.
Open: daily, closed during the Riverland fire ban season.
