A spectacular mile-long gorge with a fine example of a box canyon (200 feet deep). The river plunges 150 ft over the Falls of Measach.

Falls of Glomach

View one of the highest waterfalls in Britain. The falls are set in a steep
narrow cleft in remote country and can only be reached by a 5 mile walk – 5 hours for the round trip.

This outstanding climatically-favoured garden is set on a peninsula on the
shores of Loch Ewe and displays many exotic plants. The Walled Garden
contains plants from around the world.

Strome Castle

The Trust bought this important area in 1993 to protect its wildlife and
character, to restore its natural flora and secure one of the most popular
east/west paths in the Highlands. The path, now used only by walkers, was once part of the drove road from Skye to Dingwall.
